I strongly recommend Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa in Tokyo because I loved my stay there and didn't want to leave. the hotel is beautifully decorated and fairly clean. the staff was extremely helpful. My room was well-equipped with central heating, a private safe, and a multi-channel television that were very useful. the bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the spacious bathroom.

Stayed at the hotel under two bookings, this is a repeat of the earlier comments: Housekeeping is quite impressive, room well attended to everyday. Room came with a bar fridge which was empty and could be stocked up from the supermarket at Shinagawa Train Station. The shuttle from Shinagawa Train station is efficient.
Disappointed by the hotel from check in process that was less than friendly to check out. Point to note do not arrive before the 2pm check in time or be prepared to pay more. Be careful with room selection, standard room the double bed is almost next to the wall with very limited room. Not what was expecting for the price. On check out , no inquired if one enjoyed one stay, so whilst polite quite superficial. Amenities at the hotel were poor for the value charged and the garden which we were looking forward to is nice but very very small.

The deluxe twin room had a comfortable bed, a safe box, central heating, and also an iron and ironing board, and there was private parking available onsite. Natural: the deluxe twin room was great with a comfy bed, a safe box, central heating, and even an iron and ironing board, plus they had private parking here too.

It could be better if staff speaks better English. It could be better if the tv has international channel (there are only 4 channels in my room, all in Japanese)
Garden is good
